The National Institute of Geological Sciences brings you the 20th NIGS Research Symposium with the theme “GEODIVERSITY: Understanding Foundations, Preserving Heritage, Shaping the Future” this October 23-24, 2025.

This year’s NIGSCon aims to highlight research on the richness of Earth’s materials, processes, and landscapes, and their role in sustaining life, culture, and resilience, and will feature the latest research findings, developments, and emerging trends in petrography, geochemistry, mineral and energy resources, tectonics, stratigraphy, paleontology, surface processes, and geological hazards.
